The Lord Mayor, Councillor Terry Shannon, and Lady Mayoress, Mrs Ursula Shannon, visited St Luke’s School last Friday. They met the pupils and staff and the Lord Mayor answered questions posed by the pupils.
The Lord Mayor received rapturous applause when he gave a night off homework.
The pupils of Senior Infants presented the Lord Mayor with a new chain showing their favourite places in Cork. Perhaps he will be wearing it next time you see him!
