Our Junior and Senior Tag Rugby teams were surprised and delighted when taken out of class to attend some recent pre-match training. Having Peter O’ Mahony, Munster and Ireland player, take time out of his busy schedule to train them proved an even greater bonus! This came about as a result of a request by our Student Council to the Parents’ Association asking to take part in the Inter-Schools Tag Rugby tournament. Lucy (in photo above) wrote to the PA who then organised entry into the event and training beforehand. Thank you to all who helped make this possible.
Well done to both teams who played really well, with the seniors winning their section.
